OCA level one – course one – A Textile Vocabulary
This is the learning journey of Linda Baker as I scramble, explore and experiment my way towards an OCA Creative Textiles degree. The end of the journey could take some time!
It started way back as a small child with a rainy day box on top of the cupboard in the kitchen, a box of creative ephemera to feed my enquiring mind, on days when fresh air wasn’t an option. Thanks mom! So I spent my childhood making and with makers. In due time I did a foundation art course, followed by an industrial design degree as this was a more sensible option than textiles. But the longing was always there, and now my textiles time has come. Let the adventure continue!
